SPIRIT OF LONDON AWARDS
The Spirit of London awards are an inspirational new awards scheme for young Londoners.
The awards will celebrate young people from various walks of life whose common bond is that they are sons or daughters of the greatest city on the planet. Whether London born or adopted Londoners the Spirit of London Awards will go to young people who are a credit to the local communities whose culture and heritage light up the City by adding passion to the prestige of London life.
In its great history the metropolis has survived much conflict and trauma. Through every challenge faced the spirit of London has always prevailed. It is the people of Britain’s capital city that provide its backbone and its young people that provide its future.
SOLA 2010 - 27th November 2010
What a night - our second year, a new venue and a list of inspiration that really shows that the young people in our great city are the future - and the future is bright!
This year's event was at the IndigO2 in Greenwich on Saturday 27th November 2010 - hosted by Tamar Hussian and Tasha Danvers.
The supporting cast of performers was just as impressive - with the likes of Roll Deep, Flawless, Labrinth, Toploader, Daley, Robbie Craig & our own SOLA Ambassador Alexandra Burke all taking time out to showcase their talent - thanks guys
However the real stars of the night - were the Class of 2010 - the ones everyone came to support and honour. Supported by the Class of 2009, this collective of young achievers is set to grow and grow to provide real inspirational role models for all our young people - more of that in the coming months.
